A wonderful conversation with Joan Lewis- EWTN Rome Bureau Chief:
33

Uju at lunch with Joan Lewis, feminine genius extraordinaire who has served the Church in Rome with much grace and verve.

One of my high points in Rome was my unexpected encounter with Joan Lewis (EWTN Rome Bureau Chief) – feminine genius extraordinaire!
We shared a lunch and then a dinner in Rome and forged a friendship.
And from my conversations with Joan I can say this with much humility , Joan is a true fount of feminine wisdom , a gem who has spent many many years of her life in service of the Church. She worked for the Vatican , she has served at least 2 Popes, she has been a delegate for the Church at many significant events including the Beijing Conference. Joan has travelled to very many countries to cover important papal events over the decades. And now she is the EWTN Rome Bureau Chief.
Knowing her has been a real honour and privilege for me as she has inspired me to continue to speak up in defence of life and dignity for my people.
So it is with much gratitude to Joan Lewis that I share with you, her Vatican Insider blog and Radio Show for this weekend (Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th).
Joan interviewed me last weekend in her beautiful home in Rome , this interview will air this weekend and she has also posted a blog that features Culture of Life Africa.
Many many thanks to Joan for her incredible wisdom and energy, as well as her timeless feminine genius and graciousness.
