Dearest family and friends of COLAfrica,I am now packed, ready and waiting (at the airport) to embark on this wonderful adventure which is all about taking the Gospel of Life to Africa.Seating here at the Heathrow Airport , I can’t help but raise my heart in gratitude and thanksgiving for Culture of Life Africa , for the collaboration and endorsement of many many exceptional pro-life organisations, for the hard work and generosity of my closest associates in this initiative, for the overwhelming support of so many good people around the world, for the encouragement of all of you who are now reading this blog . You have all strengthened us by your prayers and good wishes to accept this wonderfulopportunity to spread the Great News of Life and Love , even to far and distant lands .I am glad and grateful for the many people in Nigeria who will be touched and transformed by our upcoming events, I am excited to meet and speak with the amazing women of Enugu and Owerri on various issues. To hear and share their experiences and also to tell them of mine . I am so eager to walk into the local Parish churches that feel more like home. I look forward to meeting the wonderful Priests , Religious and Lay people who are at the frontline of the pro-life battles. And I cannot wait to coordinate and collaborate with the best of the best on this mission as they work hard to roll out various in-house training workshops as a way to fortify the Nigerian pro-life defence team. The cultural wind is changing and we can all feel it here in Europe and America . We can feel it in the morally bereft entertainment industry , the contraceptive-loving health system , the politically-correct educational system , the shamelessly biased liberal media and even the rapidly radicalising politics .The truth is that this vicious and powerful “wind of the West” is being felt even in Africa . And it threatens to destroy and demolish all that is dear and precious to the African people – faith, life, family So this mission is all about encountering , encouraging and fortifying as many people as would have us.So please continue to pray for us to serve the Gospel of Life with much humility , fidelity , generosity and yes, even audacity! We will remember to pray for you all as we go along and we will surely ask the people we meet in Nigeria , to unite with us in prayer -that our world will go back to the time when every life was considered precious even life in the womb . That marriage and family life will be protected once again . That contraceptives will be decommissioned (for they cause more harm than good) , that our children will be lovingly guided on the path of chastity and healthy friendships . That the ferociously destructive “wind of the West” would subside once and for all so that we can all usher in an authentic Culture of Life and a real Civilisation of love.
Much love to you all…
Yours in all humility ,Uju
