The Good Friday Via Crucis led by Pope Francis at the Colosseum was as beautifully profound as it was evocative with the prayers and meditations composed by some Lebanese young people under the spiritual guidance of His Eminent Beatitude Cardinal Béchara Boutros Raï .
The prayers and meditations for all the 14 stations were so precious and poignant perhaps because they were poured out of tender hearts that have been brutally bruised and broken by so much violence and disregard for life in many parts of the Middle East.
