For the Liberation of Nations that have fallen into the stranglehold of the Culture of Death
Intention
We call to mind today:
-All Nations that have eclipsed faith in their public square
-Nations that have legalised and elevated same-sex “marriage” or civil unions and same-sex parenting
-Nations that have legalised abortion
-Nations that are openly promoting sexual immorality under the title of sexual and reproductive rights
Reflection
In recent times, most of the developed countries have aligned and tied themselves up with the core ideology of the Culture of Death which devalues human life and depletes human dignity.
These countries have extinguished the guiding light of faith in their public square and then opened their doors to the darkness of relativism, they have submitted to the legalised killing of their unborn, they have abandoned their youth to sexual exploitation and they have bent the knee to the totalitarian world-wide LGBT agenda. In all of these choices , all their social and civil systems have become affected and infected- their educational systems, healthcare sector, political  arena, the legal system, entertainment and media- all have become conditioned and shaped by the Culture of Death.
The damage and wound from this culture will be deep and painful upon the present generation and the generations to come.
This is why we need to pray today to our beloved intercessor Saint Josephine Bakhita for the liberation and healing of these nations. That they will usher in once more, a real civilisation of love where human life, faith and family are respected and celebrated.
Prayer:
?St. Josephine Bakhita, you were sold into slavery as a child and endured untold hardship and suffering. Once liberated from your physical enslavement, you found true redemption in your encounter with Christ and his Church.
O St. Josephine Bakhita, assist all those who are trapped in a state of slavery; intercede with God on their behalf so that they will be released from their chains of captivity.
Those whom man enslaves, let God set free.
Provide comfort to survivors of slavery and let them look to you as an example of hope and faith. Help all survivors find healing from their wounds.
We ask for your prayers and intercessions for those enslaved among us.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
